WHO WE ARE
VOICES (Voices Of Inspired Children Engaging Society)Canada is a global health transformational development organization. Our mission is to facilitate and ignite personal and social change in young people challenged by socially marginalizing systems and realities. Our multi-pronged strategy includes the provision of relevant entrepreneurship training, access to a seed funding and project incubator initiative, the curating of tailored internship opportunities within our organization and access to research fellowships in our youth-led think tank that amplifies youth voices and youth perspectives on youth-related issues.
WHY WE DO IT
We believe every youth is created with the potential to ignite positive change in their communities and hope in their peers.
We affirm the rights of each youth as stated in United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child.
We value the participation of every youth to contribute to the well-being of their community.
We insist on the importance of the holistic well-being of every young person. We believe they all ought to have access to all they need to experience a fun, safe, healthy and thriving journey from birth to adulthood.
HOW WE DO IT
Through our Youth Internship program, we inspired and train youth to see their potential, recognize their significance and ignite belief in their capacity to transform their lives.
Through our Youth Fellowship program, we provide mentorship, life skills and social change tools, entrepreneurial and research training to facilitate young people’s personal and professional growth and transformation.
Through our Social changemaker incubators, we serve as bridge builders between the social challenges youth face and the realization of their goals to live lives that transform their communities.
