Since the beginning of our faith journey, the worship, study, fellowship, and mission of CCoG have been set within the framework of historic holiness theology. What is our primary source of theological guidance? Scripture, the Bible and yet faith or belief is an interactive and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and not an intellectual affirmation of a faith statement, true as it may be. We don’t hold a formal membership, though we create an annual voters list for business purposes. We tend to hold a commitment to seeking what Christians have in common and to build on those things rather than emphasizing differences or distinctives.
We are teachers and students, leaders and learners, a diverse group of individuals and families from all areas of life called together to worship and fellowship in community, whose primary aims are to give expression to the hope found in Jesus Christ and to share that hope with the world.
